I met Pam Moore late one night at a music club, where we argued about who was the biggest fan of the band onstage. We ended up calling it a truce and becoming the best of friends.
Pam is a force of nature who commands a room and won’t take “no” for an answer. If she has an idea she runs with it and takes it to fruition, which is how we ended up here, as The Happy Bookers. When she runs with an idea, she usually takes me along for the ride!
She’s a lover of many things: old-time instruments (especially banjos, and I’ve now lost count of all of her instruments), coffee, fishnet stockings, wine & cheese, flowers for the hair, parties, people, words, music and so much more.
Pam is a terrific writer and editor who can change one word and make the sentence 10 times better. She is supportive of local music, a defender of her friendships, and a huge advocate of her friends’ music. She’s also in several bands of her own: Dime Box Band, Cheap Chick, The Neptunas, The Birdinumnums and her solo project, “Madame Pamita’s House of Wonders”, which is a truly magical sight to see.
A booker, a musician, a mother and able to make the party! I don’t know where she gets her energy, but I do know that I’m lucky to have a friend so talented and encouraging of other’s talent. And God Bless, a business partner, who keeps the ball rolling by constantly, thinking 10 steps ahead.
